Biography

Marc Sokolson is a musician based in Connecticut and New York, with a wealth of experience in musical theatre, a cappella, and music production. He currently serves as Assistant Music Director / Keyboard 2 on the national tour of Kinky Boots. With a deep background in a cappella music, his focus on precise vocal stylings brings a meticulous ear and inventive approach to his music direction, both in theater and in a cappella. He is also a skilled arranger, transcriber and engraver, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail. Most recently, Marc has worked with Netflix (Wednesday Season 2; Barbie Mysteries: Beach Detectives), Prime Video (Oh. What. Fun.), and Pentatonix. As a producer and engineer, Marc has worked with many artists to develop their unique sound and achieve high-quality mixes, fostering a creative and supportive studio environment. His collaborative approach and commitment to excellence have made him a sought-after music director, producer and arranger, as well as a valuable contributor to several productions, organizations, and artists.
